Dear California,

Thank you for being you. I know that when I first moved to the OC I resented you, and I am sorry for all the times I argued that you had no seasons, that the people who lived here were superficial or that you are lame. I am sorry that it took me over a year to fully appreciate your beauty.

Thank you for having palm trees everywhere, and soft sand to walk on that massages my toes.

Thank you for being full of cute boys.

Thank you for always being warm.

Thank you for having the best shopping and food ever. Especially the food. I mean, who knew avocados could be incorporated into every single meal without getting old?

Thank you for making it possible for me to have an annual pass to Disneyland, and go to the park whenever I want for as long or short of a time...which is just awesome.
