I'm Lucky I'm In Love With My Best Friend...

tamami

Well hi there.
I'm back, I hope you all liked the little visit from Eric Bana, isn't he dreamy? I'll pause so you can swoon, maybe a quick google image or youtube search for the beautifulness that is him.

Okay, attention back here, ladies (and dudes, I don't discriminate), I know I'll never be as cool as my husband Mr. Bana, but that's okay. You're reading my blog. I knew you first, so clearly I get dibs. Hold on, Eric, they can feast their eyes on you in a second.

So my life is crazy. Like, explode-out-of-your-mind-I-thought-school-was-almost-over-and-things-are-supposed-to-be-calming-down-guess-not crazy. I have my new, lovely, hectic, amazing, nicely paying job here, and prom business to attend to, and school banquets to attend, and a choir concert to perform at, and the SAT Literature subject test to take tomorrow morning, and homework, and finals, and a social life to attempt to have, and a haircut to get, and a blog to write and Eric Bana to marry. I'm a busy, busy girl.

Here, without further ado, is a new tradition I'm going to try to start. I want to post more often, and I feel like I can help myself do that by setting up little schedules for myself, since most of the time it's a general lack-of-inspiration that keeps me from blogging on a regular basis.

Here is Fill in the Blanks Friday, courtesy of The little things we do:

1. My dream vacation would be: A trip to the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas. I've wanted to go ever since I was a little girl and saw Holiday in the Sun (the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson movie? Yeah you know that's right)...I've been begging my family for years and we never had the time/funds. One day, though, it's happening. Honeymoon? What do you think, Eric Bana?

2. The best trip I've ever taken was: probably my latest trip up to Ottawa. I know Ottawa isn't exotic, and I used to live there so it's not really a vacation, but it was the first time I've ever flown internationally by myself, and I was there to visit my best friends in the whole wide world...it was magical and snowy and lovely and I miss it there so much. It was great closure and fantastic and I want to do it again.

3. The most important items to bring on a road trip are: good music, good books, good friends, and starbucks iced coffee.

4. The next trip I'm looking forward to is: a choir tour next year to ITALY. ITALY, GUYS. ITALY.

5. If I had to pick one CD to listen to on a long road trip it would be: Jason Mraz -- We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things. Oh wait...I've already done that? More than once? Yeah it's because it's the best thing ever.

6. The biggest disaster I've ever encountered while traveling is: when we were in San Jose for a few days of spring break this last April, and my whole family was watching my brother's playoff hockey game...we came out to find our car window smashed and our GPS gone. Take the GPS, whatever, but don't smash our window, dude, don't smash our window. And finding your way around a city you don't know while on vacation without your trusty GPS is really frustrating.

7. My favourite traveling memory is: Probably either my family's trip to Miami when I was in grade 5, our trip to Boston in grade 6, or our trip to New York City in the summer before grade 9. Oh, memories :)

Well there you go. Thoughts on Fill in the Blank Friday? I like it, do you?

love,
me.

P.S. Eric Bana says hi.
