This Post Doesn't Need A Title

I just went through and read a month's worth of posts on all my favourite blogs.

I've missed you guys!!!

I'm home now from New Hampshire. I had a lot of time to clear my head and think and become wise on that trip, and aside from understanding the bizarre, obsessive appeal of Dunkin Donuts, I feel a lot more at peace with where I am in life and who I want to become.

Tonight I will be "celebrating" with all my friends. I say "celebrating" because we're all getting together in honour of an event, and it's going to be tons of fun...but it's sort of sad at the same time. Sort of like those parties after funerals, except...not at all like that. Am I a terrible person for likening this to a funeral?

anyway, my friend Maureen is leaving for NYU again. I don't like it when she leaves for NYU and leaves us all here in Southern California without her quirky style, ridiculous intelligence, amazing sense of humour, maturity and overuse of the word "inspiring". Without Maureen, moments like these would never have happened:
she's the one in the floral dress. I'm in polka dots, because I'm
cheery like that.

Maureen, New York is lucky to have you. And we'll all see you when you come home to visit, so it ain't no big thing.

I'm going to miss you though!

In other news, I got my biggest paycheque yet on Monday. $573 in my pocket, y'all. Super excited to do some back to school shopping with that money. I haven't worked since the 8th, and I'm missing the kids! Not enough to cover anybody's shifts this week now that I'm back, but I still miss the children. When I was at the Boston airport a little boy was wearing a Batman shirt, and I legitimately almost cried because it made me think of Alex, a little boy at work who pretends to be a different superhero every day. And you know when you're almost crying because you miss children you barely know that there is something seriously wrong with you.

I LOVE MY TUMBLR, by the way. Check it out, because I have 40 followers. That's 26 more than I have on here, so something has to be going right over there. I'm thinking of changing the name though, we'll see.

See you all on the flip side!

love,
me.

I'm glad you enjoyed your time on the east coast and have found a little bit of you there. Welcome back!

By the way, I say "Catch you on the flip side" all the time, and my boyfriend always asks, "What does that even mean??" I'm glad I'm not the only one ;.)
