Classic Whimsy

I got some mail today! I love snail mail...usually its just bills for my parents or fliers from a million universities for me, but today it was completely worthwhile!

My cousin Melissa designs jewelry, and has an etsy shop that I absolutely adore. Its all vintage, refurbished pieces with quirky, unique charm and total, complete CUTENESS. Check out Classic Whimsy Designs. Seriously. Stop reading this post and click that link.

No, stop reading.
Stop it.

Did you click it? Don't you LOVE IT?

I helped Melly out with some marketing ideas and what not for back-to-school, and in return she sent me three lovely pieces. And when I say lovely, I mean "I am wearing these every day".

I was gifted (completely unnecessarily, totes didn't deserve it, thanks so much Mel):

Autumn's Key - A Vintage-Inspired Necklace
Autumn's Key, which I thought was HUGE when I looked at it on the site, but is in reality tiny and cute and understated in brilliant fall colors that I am wearing every day. The chain is long, which I love, and it's the pendant necklace I've been looking for.

Ginger - A Vintage-Inspired Necklace
Ginger, a lovely necklace that has a shorter chain for a classier look. I really like where the pearl hits me, because it calls attention to the girls. And we all want attention called to the girls. It's super Old Hollywood.

and finally,

Coral Rose Silver Filigree Ring
Coral Rose, a lovely ring that adds just a little bit of color to my hand. I have been wanting to become the kind of girl who wears rings, but I have crazy huge knuckles and they never fit...this one is open in the back, which makes it fit all my fingers easy. Thank God!

I am so happy. Mel is the best, and not just because we have the same birthday.

love,
me.

P.S. Seriously, buy some stuff. Free shipping in North America!!
