Hey there all.
This is me, sticking my head out of my dark, mysterious cave of tumblrdom to say he-COUGHCOUGHCOUGH-llo.
sniff.
sniff.
sneeze!
sniff.
COUGHCOUGHCOUGH.
ragged inhale.
I'm sorry, were we having a conversation? Did I interrupt it with my fantastically classy combination of what my doctor labeled both bronchitis and sinusitis that just won't quit? Well jeez, that's too bad.
I am losing. my. mind.
Last week I began my newest endeavor as Mrs. Lovett in the school production of Sweeney Todd. I have a ton to prove. There were hoards of girls who thought - nay - expected - this part. And...well...I have problems of the lung/throat/sinus variety. So my singing leaves much to be desired.
We have a choir competition at Chapman University coming up, and we've kicked into high gear during Madrigals. Who sits there and doesn't sing during rehearsal for an hour and 42 minutes? This girl.
I'm a senior in high school. I don't have a lot of time for curling up and sleeping. And now, based on the fact that I'm up all night with coughing fits and a post-nasal drip that burns my throat like you wouldn't believe, I'm getting less than no sleep.
Ughhhhh guys. How is the beautiful boy in my first period ever going to notice me if I'm coughing? How? I try to be cute, but I know that I'm oozing.
Oh god.
I hope I'm not oozing.
love,
me.

I literally had the same thing that you have. It really does suck. I had to stop singing for a few weeks, but luckily it was spring break. miss you. -Dane
